Austin based CSGM is the developer of The Hillside and possesses over 75 years of asset management and development experience at a local and national level. CSGM’s asset management team has been responsible for the management, development and rehabilitation aspects of over 4,000 housing units. The Hillside has been a dream of the CSGM team for 17 years and we are pleased to be a responsible part of the Austin community. CSGM used its knowledge and continued research of the Austin housing market, and its own company characteristics to develop a cohesive and creative working relationship with the architectural, market research, engineering and construction firms affiliated with The Hillside project.

The Architect:

After two years of extensive research and travel, seeking out the perfect architect for the site, CSGM found JZMK Partners, one of the most award winning Architectural firms in the country. JZMK has an extensive portfolio of many uniquely designed hillside projects throughout California and numerous countries around the world. During CSGM’s initial visit with JZMK it was discovered that they also had previous experience in the Texas hill country. Intrigued by the location and CSGM’s plan to preserve the integrity of the hillside, JZMK became the perfect fit for the team. Nine years of design and redesign followed to arrive at the definition and look of “Urban Hill Country Living” you see nestled next to the Balcones Canyonlands today.

The Builder:

Long trusted in the Austin area, Prestige Builders, is a custom home builder that is in charge of the actual construction of our Hillside homes.
