Firewise Resources
Hillside participates in the Firewise USA® program to help reduce wildfire risk and improve community preparedness. Working with the Austin Fire Department Wildfire Division, Hillside has developed a community risk assessment and an ongoing wildfire mitigation plan.
Residents are encouraged to review these resources and learn how vegetation management, defensible space, home maintenance, and emergency preparedness can help protect our community.
